Meet Our Director

Codie Minter

Codie Minter is a dedicated childcare professional with over 12 years of experience in early childhood education and daycare leadership. As Director, with both a Director’s Credential and CDA certification, Codie is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn and grow.

A loving wife and proud mother of three, Codie brings compassion, patience, and strong family values into her work every day. She is committed to creating a positive and welcoming environment where children feel supported, families feel connected, and staff feel valued.

Kasey

Kasey is an early childhood educator and mom of two, dedicated to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children. She creates a warm, supportive environment where every child can explore and thrive through play-based learning.

Christy Hensley

Christy is a married mom of two with five years of childcare experience. She is passionate about creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children can learn and grow. Dependable, hardworking, and dedicated to helping others, Christy brings kindness and commitment to the classroom each day. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and traveling with her family.

Kassidy Hunt, Floater and Closer at The Learning Tree for Children

Kassidy Hunt

Kassidy Hunt has been part of The Learning Tree since February 2025, beginning as an after-school teacher. She currently serves as a Floater/Closer, a role she began in September 2025. Kassidy attends Eastern Kentucky University and plans to continue working at The Learning Tree while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Cicely

Cicely has the joy of being the classroom teacher for one-year-olds at The Learning Tree, a role she has cherished for the past three years. It’s a wonderful experience for her to see the children learning, growing, and discovering new things every day. When she’s not at work, Cicely loves reading, working on crafts, and exploring topics that spark her curiosity.

Ms. Audrey, early childhood educator at The Learning Tree for Children

Ms. Audrey

Ms. Audrey has worked in early childcare for 10 years. She is currently engaged and has two children. She loves spending time with her family and exploring new places. Some of her favorite things are going for coffee, hiking, gardening, and trying new foods.

Audrey has acquired many credits towards credentials and certifications in early childhood development throughout the years and has attended seminars and other early childhood development trainings. She is first aid and CPR certified and is also educated on bloodborne and airborne pathogens. She is very passionate about teaching and enjoys working with children and helping them grow. She loves to hear from families, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Marsha Kyle, 3-year-old classroom teacher at The Learning Tree for Children

Marsha Kyle

Marsha Kyle has been dedicated to working with children for over 18 years at The Learning Tree for Children. She has a daughter and son who are her world, and she has recently become a MiMi. Throughout her career, Marsha has worked with children of all ages and developed a strong passion for helping young learners grow, learn, and thrive.

Marsha currently serves as the 3-year-old teacher, where she enjoys creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment each day. She loves building meaningful relationships with the children and their families and takes pride in supporting each child's development through patience, creativity, and care. Working with children has always been a rewarding part of her life, and she looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom.
